Full payment is required before work
will start on your website.
The package content is shown on the
packages page.
The hosting and domain name will be
acquired through a third party supplier with initial management from
Websitedad. They will be acquired for 1 or 2 years depending on your
choice of package. They can be extended
after that time.
The hosting package is for the
specified amount of web
space, this is usually plenty for a small site but can be upgraded
if required.
There is a minimum 10GB monthly traffic allowance, again plenty but this can
be upgraded as required. The hosting
package gives your site php and mySQL support as well as management
statistics like how many visitors have there been to your site.
There are up to 10 email (POP) accounts that will be created for
you, depending on your package. You may wish to have them redirected which we will do or you
may want to set them up in Outlook or a mail client of your choice.
There is a webmail client.
Part of the design process will be to
determine what keywords and phrases will be used by potential
customers in search engines, like Google. Your site will be
optimised for these words and phrases but no guarantees can be given
to how well your site will rank in any search engine.
Requirements gathering will be by
face to face meeting or
electronically. There will be telephone
contact and a questionnaire to complete in preparation.
Included are up to 10
product pages with 10 products per page. If you need more than this
then we can make these pages on a day rate basis of £250 per day. If
you are able to create your own web pages then you are quite free to
add to the site as you wish, it is your site. However we would not
be able to support those pages. You will be responsible for
producing photographs of your products however we can do this for
you at a rate of £250 per day extra.
The ecommerce aspects are provided by
the use of PayPal. This has several benefits. You don't need to be
processing credit cards already and all security is their
responsibility. There is a cost per transaction which is a maximum
of 3.4% + 20p. This will be discussed at the initial meeting along with what
you need to do to set it up. I will need access to your PayPal
account to set up the buttons (unless you do your own) to make the sale, I will of course
only use it for this purpose and once that process is complete you
will be advised to change your PayPal password. You will be provided
with an Excel spreadsheet to help with pricing your products to
ensure that your margins are maintained with the transaction costs.
Support on the website created by
Websitedad is for 3 months by email only.
On completion of the website all
documentation and passwords will be handed over to you. On-going
support can be provided on an ad hoc basis at £30 per hour. This can
include modifying product pages, changing the look and feel of the
site, monitoring email, producing management information etc.
Apart from all the specifics above we
will of course be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. |
